Edgar Howard Tye born in West Bromwich march quarter of 1873 married Pattie Turner bc.1874 on July 23 1904 in the parish of Neaton Morris, Lancaster.
Her address at the time of their marriage was Fernside, Broomfield Road and his 3, Mount Vale, York. Her father Thomas Turner deceased was a Commercial Traveller and his, Clifford Henry Tye was a Jeweller.
Henry Jones and Martha Turner were witnesses.
Pattie died aged 84 at her sons house, Dunnington Hall on 19 January 1958 from Heart failure, myocarditis, senility and gangrene of the left foot, her daughter-in-law was present at the death.
In 1901 Howard was living at The Grange York as a Commercial Traveller with his own account and his place of birth was Birmingham.
