John William Tredwell married Harriet Brecknell born: 6 June 1839

John William Tredwell was born the son of John Tredwell and Elizabeth Skiliter and was an engine fitter (locomotive department) living in St Martins Parish, Worcester at the time of his marriage to Harriet Defreece Brecknell (from Abberley) at Rock in May 1865 with John and Betsy Brecknell as their witnesses. They both died at their daughter Florence' house 22, Benton Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham. Harriet from Senile decay and hearth failure aged 84.
Harriet was the daughter of Emanuel Brecknell and Mary Chamberlain farmers at 'The Home Farm', Abberley. In 1861 she was working as a cook in Ronks Wood Villa, Claines for Henry Columbus Henry a civil engineer. She had 4 siblings Mary, John, Harriet and Emma, John became a Station Master in Oxfordshire.
