David Solomon Tredwell

Solomon Tredwell was born in Elmley Lovett on 25 April 1848 the youngest child of John Tredwell a sub contractor and Maria Pittaway; interestingly his name was changed, probably due to baptism, to David Solomon sometime after the original registration. In 1861 (aged 12) he was at boarding school in Knutsford, Cheshire and then there is then nothing on the census returns until 1901 where he was married to Kate Cooper and was employed by the Sherriffs officer.
